We’ve been back in San Diego for about 3 months. Now that we’re back in a normal daily rhythm, it’s easy to feel like we never left home at all, that the whirlwind of memories from the previous 4 months are just a passing daydream.
Just as we expected, we’re already ready to get back out there and explore more, but for now we’ll have to make do with microadventures near home. Here are some photos from life back in San Diego.
We were able to get away to Mexico with the family for a long weekend in March.
This shot of Neela jumping rope with a piece of seaweed is one of my all-time favorites.
Las Gaviotas is one of my favorite places in the world. It’s not super fancy and the surf isn’t amazing, but it’s a place where I can always find peace. Time spent there always feels rich and sweet and slow and full of life.
Being back at home for the past couple months has been refreshing. We’ve had time to spend with the friends and family we missed out on the road and to be back in this beautiful city is a pleasure. That being said, it sure doesn’t take long for the wanderlust to come back.
Yours in Adventure,
Sarah + Denny
